One of the best down-home cooking type diners anywhere around. The cook is excellent and the service is top notch. I eat there once a week and have not yet experienced a negative visit. Highly recommend you stop on in for breakfast

The French toast was bland, syrup served out of a dirty squirt bottle, and an egg half done. The fruit is literally canned peaches (which I like, but not at a restaurant). Not impressed.

The good was ok, just standard dining good. All I can say about the service is that the woman did her job. However, she came across as very cold and not wanting us there. So no problem, we won't be back.

This is the third time we have visited this restaurant. Each time has been as consistent as a the last. I ordered the same meal, pancakes with eggs and polish sausage. The second time I added American fries. The eggs are cooked well, the pancakes are of a generous size and the American fries are cooked nicely. The upgrade from bacon or sausage to polish sausage is well worth the price as I tried both the bacon and polish sausage and found the sausage to be superior. The staff is nice and keeps the flow going and the chef/ chefs are consistent from day to day in my experience. It's a nice place to get a meal if you visit rapid city now and again like we do.

Not bad breakfast choices here for a traditional early morning breakfast. Don't expect anything too outstanding or eye catcher in regards to the menu choices but they do give A LOT for a really cheap price. Overall: If you're looking for a cheap priced breakfast where a traditional bacon and eggs suit you, this is the place. If you're looking for some top-notched high quality breakfast, this isn't the place. The breakfast choices are fairly straight-forward and in good portions. The food IS good for the price, don't get me wrong, it's just average.

Here for breakfast. Nothing fancy, but solid breakfast fare. Good flavor. Local diner atmosphere. Casual and comfortable. I'd certainly come back.

We love finding local gems and this is definitely one of them. Low key, simple, very pleasant people, yummy food (my little one loved her Mickey shaped pancake), great atmosphere. Away from the hotel crowds and greasy Denny's and the likes. Wonderful experience!
